About Statue of Unity

The Statue of Unity is an iconic monument located near the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada River in Gujarat, India. Built in honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the statue recognizes his role in unifying more than 560 princely states into the Republic of India after independence.
