About Nakki Lake

Nakki Lake is one of the most scenic attractions of Mount Abu. According to local legend, the lake was dug out by gods using their nails (nakh), which is how it got its name “Nakki.”

Located at an altitude of about 1,200 meters above sea level, the lake offers a refreshing climate compared to the desert plains of Rajasthan. It is surrounded by lush greenery, hills, and unusual rock formations such as:
